| Springtime Chicken Primavera |

| INGREDIENTS |

8 ounces dry linguini pasta
|
|
2 cups thin baby cut carrots
|
|
1/2 pound fresh asparagus, trimmed, cut into 1-inch pieces
|
|
1 cup milk
|
|
2 tablespoons flour
|
|
1 1/2 teaspoons chicken bouillon granules
|
|
1 package HORMEL® ALWAYS TENDER™ Lemon Pepper Chicken Breasts (17-ounce) cut into bite-size pieces
|
|
2 tablespoons oil
|
|
1/3 cup shredded fresh Parmesan cheese
|
|
Fresh, chopped chives, if desired
|
|
|

| DIRECTIONS |
|
Cook pasta and carrots in boiling water 8-10 minutes or until desired doneness, adding asparagus during the last 2-3 minutes of cooking time. Drain and keep warm. In a small bowl, combine milk, flour and bouillon. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, cook chicken in oil 4-6 minutes or until chicken is no longer pink, stirring frequently. Add milk mixture to skillet. Cook and stir 2-3 minutes or until thickened. Stir in cheese. Cook over medium-low heat until cheese is melted, stirring constantly. Add vegetables and pasta to skillet. Toss to combine. Sprinkle with fresh, chopped chives, if desired.
