| Normandy Pork and Apples |

| INGREDIENTS |

5 tablespoons butter or margarine, divided
|
|
4 Golden Delicious apples, peeled, cored and cut into 1/3-inch slices
|
|
1 teaspoon sugar
|
|
1 package HORMEL® ALWAYS TENDER® Pork Tenderloin (about 2 pounds), cut into 1-inch slices
|
|
1 cup chopped onion
|
|
1 tablespoon chopped fresh thyme or 1 teaspoon dried thyme leaves
|
|
1/4 cup apple brandy
|
|
1 cup whipping cream
|
|
1/4 cup apple cider
|
|
|

| DIRECTIONS |
|
In large skillet over medium-high heat, melt 2 tablespoons butter. Add apples and sugar. Sauté 6 minutes or until golden brown. Set aside. Melt 2 tablespoons butter in skillet. Add pork. Sauté 8 to 10 minutes or until no longer pink. Transfer to platter; keep warm. Melt 1 tablespoon butter in skillet. Add onion and thyme. Sauté 2 minutes. Add apple brandy. Boil until reduced to glaze. Stir in cream and cider. Boil 3 minutes or until thickened. Add apples. Heat thoroughly. Spoon sauce with apples over pork.
