Grilled Teriyaki Steaks with Fruit Salsa
Prep Time: 1 hour
Cook Time: 30 minutes
INGREDIENTS
4 HORMEL® ALWAYS TENDER® Beef Chuck Eye or thin Top Round
Steaks, cut 3/4-inch thick (about 1-1/4 lb.)
1/3 cup Prepared teriyaki marinade with pineapple juice
FRUIT SALSA:
2 each medium plums, pitted and diced
2 tablespoons orange marmalade
2 tablespoons fresh lime juice or lemon juice
2 tablespoons finely chopped red onion
1 teaspoon finely chopped seeded jalapeno pepper

DIRECTIONS
1. Trim fat from beef steaks. Place steaks in shallow non-metallic pan. Pour 1/3 cup prepared teriyaki sauce over steaks; turn once. Cover; place in refrigerator to marinate for 30 to 60 minutes. 2. Meanwhile, in small bowl combine plums, marmalade, lime juice, onion and jalapeno pepper; mix well. Set aside. 3. Remove steaks from marinade; place steaks on broiler pan. Broil 3 to 4 inches from heat for 8 minutes for rare to 12 minutes for medium or until at desired doneness, turning once halfway through. 4. Place steaks on serving platter; drizzle with fresh teriyaki marinade if desired. Serve with fruit salsa.
