| Minnesota Wild Rice Stew |

| INGREDIENTS |

1/2 pound HORMEL® ALWAYS TENDER® Pork, cut into 1/2-inch cubes
|
|
1/2 cup chopped onion
|
|
1 teaspoon oil
|
|
2 teaspoons ground cumin
|
|
1/4 teaspoon garlic powder
|
|
1 cup cooked wild rice
|
|
1 can (15-1/2-ounce) Great Northern beans, drained
|
|
1 can (15-1/2-ounce) garbanzo beans, drained
|
|
1 can (4-ounce) diced green chilies, drained
|
|
1/8 teaspoon hot pepper sauce
|
|
1 can (14-1/2-ounce) chicken broth
|
|
Chopped parsley
|
|
|

| DIRECTIONS |
|
In 4-quart saucepan over medium-high heat, sauté pork and onion in oil 5 minutes or until browned. Stir in remaining ingredients except parsley. Bring to a boil. Reduce heat and simmer 20 minutes. Sprinkle with parsley. Serves 6.
